Johnson&Johnson Vision Satellite Symposium 19th of February

Winter-ESCRS 2022 is approaching, and most of you may know the conference was moved from Vilamoura (Portugal) into a fully virtual congress for reasons of COVID.

We like to invite you to the lunchtime Satellite Symposium “Latest IOL technologies for fulfilling patient demands” JJV is sponsoring on Saturday, 19th of Feb, 13:00 – 14:00 CET as part of the EuroTimes Education Satellite Program.

We are happy the symposium will be chaired by Prof. Filomena Ribeiro (current Secretary of the ESCRS) who may refer to her broad experience with all latest JJV IOL technologies incl. TECNIS Eyhance, Symfony & Synergy. Referring to the title of the symposium, the program will discuss on how various IOL technologies enable surgeons to address different patient needs – whether it is in the monofocal or PCIOL segment. In doing so,

  • Prof. Ribeiro will illustrate the importance of intermediate vision and her personal experience with TECNIS Eyhance,
  • Dra. del Campo will report on her QoL study data with TECNIS Eyhance, and share insights from geriatrics on the impact of vision on the elderly patient, and
  • Dr. Diez del Corral will refer to his broad experience in peer-to-peer education on PCIOL, and share tips and tricks for generating excellent outcomes and happy patients with presbyopia-correcting IOLs, incl. TECNIS Synergy.

The symposium will be broadcasted live on the WESCRS website; registration through the ESCRS is mandatory for attending.

As usual, there are several industry-sponsored symposia competing at lunchtime. Therefore, considering your local regulatory regulations, please use attached invitations to guide your teams and surgeons, who are joining Virtual WESCRS, into the JJV sponsored Satellite.
